PHLEBOTOMY National
In recent years, phlebotomy skills have become a requirement for employment in nearly all areas of the allied health field. This has resulted from the downsizing and cross-training needs in hospitals, laboratories, and doctor’s offices. If you are a person who would like to perform phlebotomy in your job, new in the field, has no experience or just needs a refresher , this professional class will meet your needs.
We will lead you through the latest venipuncture techniques and equipment in hands-on instruction that will spotlight universal precautions and infection control procedures, specimen handling issues and potential complications associated with blood collection preparing you for the national exam. The national Medca test is not accepted in California or Louisiana at this time. All other states will accept Medca.
Difficult “draws’ will be reviewed giving the registrant a complete introduction and advanced review of venipuncture technique suitable for any patient age or condition.
If passed the examinee will be nationally certified by MedCA.
Exams will be graded by MedCA and certificates will be mailed to address submitted.
No refunds will be granted if test is failed or no showed.
